Arsenal extends Arteta’s contract
The renewal of Spanish coach Mikel Arteta's contract with Arsenal until 2030 aims to continue the team's successes, following his leadership last season in winning the Premier League for the first time since 2004, and achieving remarkable results, including reaching the Champions League final for the first time since 2006. The club has agreed to a new contract that reflects confidence in his leadership, along with a salary increase. Presidents Stan and Josh Kroenke emphasize that the journey with Arteta has been exceptional and look forward to more accomplishments. Arteta has been leading the team since December 2019, succeeding his compatriot Unai Emery, and has achieved major successes, including restoring the team’s position as a top contender and making it one of the most prominent names in the league, becoming the most enduring manager among the top clubs in England.
