Deminor injury grants Djokovic seventh China win
Novak Djokovic won the China Open tennis title for the seventh time after his Australian opponent, Alex de Minaur, withdrew due to a thigh injury in the final match. De Minaur had resumed play after receiving medical treatment but was unable to continue despite leading in the first game of the second set, with the score at 7-6 (3) and 1-0 in favor of Djokovic. The injury occurred after a tough set that Djokovic narrowly secured, which ultimately led to de Minaur's withdrawal and the conclusion of the tournament.
