Jesus leads Portugal's new chapter
The article begins by highlighting a new era for the Portuguese national team under the leadership of coach Jorge Jesus. His team is showcasing new attacking options, exemplified by Gonçalo Ramos, who has scored three goals and provided an assist in the last three matches, and João Félix, who has regained his form after his stint in Saudi Arabia. Jesus relies on a 4-4-2 formation, with adjustments to the roles of the midfield and forward players. Ramos has become the new No. 9 striker, while João Félix operates more freely as the second forward. The article also emphasizes Ramos's distinction, noting his €70 million move to AC Milan, his impressive performances in recent games, and discusses how Jesus is leveraging João Félix’s abilities to bolster Portugal's attack instead of relying on the mysterious future of Cristiano Ronaldo. It also points to positive results for the team, including their qualification for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League.
