European Golden Boy nominees announced
Italian newspaper Tuttosport has proposed a list of 25 players nominated for the 2026 "Golden Boy" award, which is presented to the most outstanding European talents under the age of 21. The nominations include players from 14 countries, with Moroccan star Ilyas Boudoumi from Manchester City continuing to compete for the award, alongside strong representations from clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Juventus. The total market value of the candidates exceeds 1.3 billion euros, with expectations of a significant increase in their values before the final vote. The award is based on exceptional performance with clubs and national teams during the year, and candidates must be born in 2006 or later and be participating in one of the major European leagues.
