Donis alters routine Abu Al-Shamat out Muhaziri key
The head coach of the Saudi national football team, Georgios Donis, announced the exclusion of right-back Mohamed Abu Shamat from the starting lineup for the semifinals of the 27th Gulf Cup against Qatar, for the first time during the tournament held in Jeddah. Donis decided to include player Mohamed Mahzari in the right-back position, marking his first start, while Sultan Mandash and Hmam Al-Homami were also deployed on the flanks. The change in the lineup was made to strengthen the team's performance ahead of the important match, which began with goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais.
