Ancelotti: I enjoy Barcelona and Vinícius is untouchable
Davide Ancelotti, the coach of French team Lille, explains in an interview with "AS" that his current experience aims to build an independent reputation separate from the shadow of his legendary father, Carlo Ancelotti. He discusses his coaching philosophy, emphasizing continuous development in modern football, with a focus on defensive strength and precise planning to achieve financial stability and good performance. He confirms that the French Ligue 1 is similar to the English Premier League in terms of excitement and competitiveness, but suffers from a lack of media attention despite producing talented players. He highlights the importance of players' personalities like Vinicius Junior and their impactful roles. He also expresses respect for coaches like Mourinho, whom he considers suitable for Real Madrid because he loves the club and has strong motivation. Regarding his departure from Brazil, he views his move to Lille as coming at the right time after a difficult experience with the Brazilian national team. He also shares his future dream of managing Real Madrid, affirming that success and results are the true path to achieving that, not simply the name or connections.
