The Ghana Football Association has announced the amicable termination of Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz's tenure with the Ghana national team, following two consecutive losses in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for 2027. Queiroz took charge of the team in April and achieved disappointing results, winning only one out of seven matches, having been at the helm since the 2026 World Cup, where Ghana was eliminated in the round of 32. The association is seeking to appoint a new coach before the upcoming qualifying matches against Somalia in November.
