Bordeaux club sold for one euro
The French club Bordeaux has been sold to the American investment fund (Park Bench) for a symbolic euro, in a move aimed at rescuing the club from its accumulated financial and sporting crises. The fund owes nearly 18 million euros and operates in data analysis and investment sectors, holding stakes in other European clubs. After years of decline, the club is looking to regain its position through this deal, which requires approval procedures from regulatory authorities and the commercial court in Bordeaux to ensure the club's continued participation in the sixth division competitions for the upcoming season.
