Perez's rivals target wife’s grave in Madrid
The article focused on the ongoing conflict between Real Madrid Club and "Ultras Sur," a supporters' group with a far-right and racist background, historically linked to Nazism. The group was expelled from Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in 2013 due to violence and violations of regulations. However, they reappeared at away matches, despite being officially weakened, and continued to express their extreme views. The supporters' group launched a campaign against team players Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Ibrahim Konaté following their dispute over solidarity with the people of Ceuta. They criticized the players and demanded apologies, leveraging old conflicts with club president Florentino Pérez, whom the article describes as an opponent of the group. The article illustrates how the relationship between "Ultras Sur" and Real Madrid has been long and complex, marked by numerous divisions and clashes that persisted even after their expulsion from the club's stands.
