Chelsea names largest squad in 3 years
An article focused on the formation of Chelsea's squad over the past three and a half years, highlighting a notable strategic shift during the match against Brentford in the fifth round of the Premier League. It was announced that this was the largest average age of the starting lineup since then, reaching 27 years and 349 days, with the participation of the veteran duo Dani Welbeck (35 years old) and Jordan Henderson (36 years old). They became the oldest English players to start a game for the club since 2017. This reflects a change in coach Chabi Alonso's strategy, aiming to approach the competition for top positions in the league standings.
