Maradona’s death: Heart doctor testifies
Doctor Ricardo Iglesias confirmed that the death of football legend Diego Maradona was due to an unexpected sudden cardiac incident. He stated that Maradona's heart condition was good and showed no signs of prolonged suffering or health issues prior to his death in November 2020. Iglesias explained that Maradona, who was 60 years old, did not suffer from active heart diseases, and that his cessation of drug use years earlier had helped restore his heart to a normal state. Despite differing opinions among medical professionals, cases of sudden death due to heart attacks are unpredictable. The accused in the case face the possibility of up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
