Occupation causes civilian injury in Daraa
A man with a disability was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Jumla in the Daraa countryside in southern Syria during their recent incursion into the area. The official agency "SANA" reported the deployment of Israeli forces in the village, with snipers positioned on rooftops, accompanied by artillery shelling and field movements. Damascus accuses Israel of violating the 1974 disengagement agreement by infiltrating, raiding homes, and detaining residents, as well as bulldozing olive fields in the region. These operations come amid an escalation of Israeli actions inside Syrian territory, amid growing fears of increased military activities and breaches of Syrian sovereignty.
