Japanese flight canceled due to snake under carpet
A small snake caused a domestic flight in Japan to be canceled after it was found by a mechanic hidden under a carpet inside the aircraft cabin just minutes before departure from Fukuoka Airport. The snake was approximately 40 centimeters long and was a Japanese striped snake, non-venomous and posing no threat to humans. Wildlife experts were called in to capture it, and the flight was canceled to conduct thorough inspections to ensure passenger safety. This incident is the first of its kind in the company's history. It is still unknown how the snake managed to get inside the plane.
