Five fatalities from heavy rains in Istanbul
Five people have died and another is missing due to the heavy rains that hit Istanbul since Wednesday. The rains caused flooding that washed away cars, prompting rescue and search teams to be mobilized. Authorities have learned that the rainfall intensified on Saturday and Sunday night, leading to an increase in the death toll. However, it is expected that the situation will return to normal after the rains cease and the critical phase has passed.
