California mansions and land ablaze
Large fires have broken out in California, leading to the destruction of homes and hundreds of hectares of land, due to strong winds and high temperatures. The "Norte" fire has scorched approximately 188 hectares and caused damage to several homes, prompting widespread evacuation orders and urging residents to stay alert. Efforts to combat the "Praison" fire near Malibu continue, while a fire has ignited on about 2,070 acres at Camp Pendleton base, with wind speeds reaching up to 110 km/h and temperatures hitting 38°C. The risk of widespread fire spread is expected to persist amidst ongoing harsh weather conditions.
