Al-Qassam releases first footage of soldier sniper kill
The Al-Qassam Brigades released exclusive footage showing a sniper operation in which an Israeli soldier, Michael Mordechai Nahmani, was killed during battles in the Shati Refugee Camp in Gaza before the October 2025 ceasefire. The video features a group leader, Mohamed Bassam Mushtaha, aiming his rifle and executing a direct sniper shot, which immediately resulted in the soldier's death. The clip serves as a tribute to Mushtaha, who was martyred last August in an assassination operation following a bombardment targeting his home. The Qassam Brigades confirmed that the sniper attack inflicted losses on the Israeli forces before their withdrawal from the area.
