Balqa University students submit Blood Mandate for Cairo Festival
Students of Al-Balqa Applied University successfully produced the film "Blood Mandate," which is considered the first Jordanian cinematic work to explore the Viking era and its folklore. The film was nominated for screening at the Cairo Festival of French-language Films in October 2026. The project was produced by the Computer Graphics and Animation Department at Prince Abdullah bin Ghazi College of Communications. This achievement reflects the excellence of Jordanian student film production, as a team of students, supervised by Dr. Hiba Al-Hayari, participated in the preparation, directing, and execution of the work, utilizing their academic and artistic skills to create a unique and distinguished cinematic experience.
