Unverified report of bomb threat at Ben Gurion Airport
Passengers on a Delta Airlines flight were evacuated after an anonymous tip claimed there was a bomb onboard immediately upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv on Tuesday. Security and thorough inspections of the plane, which was arriving from New York, have begun amid a state of alert. The validity of the report has not yet been confirmed, and it was later revealed to be false. Authorities are conducting investigations to uncover the details of the incident and to ensure the safety of the aircraft and the airport.
