Public Security Explains Driver Misinformation
The Public Security Directorate clarifies the details of the investigation into the video posted by a ride-hailing driver from inside Queen Alia Airport, in which he attempted to insult traffic officers allegedly due to unfair treatment. It has been determined that the driver fabricated the incident, as he paid another person outside the app to ride with him for 20 dinars, and threatened to launch a new trip and record a video to show injustice after violating legal protocols. The driver has been referred to the Cyber Crimes Unit to take legal action against him, as he sought to mislead the public and defame traffic officers by disseminating misleading content.
