Regions Most Affected by Thunderstorms
Several areas in Jordan, including Amman, Mafraq, Zarqa, Maan, and Tafilah, experienced moderate to heavy rainfall sometimes accompanied by thunder and lightning, due to the ongoing unstable atmospheric conditions. The rains led to thunderstorms across wide regions, including North of Aqaba, Shoubak, and Karak. The Meteorological Department warned that the situation is expected to continue, with the possibility of heavy rain, intensified lightning, and thunder. Citizens are advised to exercise caution and avoid areas prone to flooding and valleys.
