Al-Jafr reports record 72-hour rainfall
The meteorological report indicates that Al Jufr recorded the highest rainfall over the past 72 hours, with rain amounts reaching 15.8 mm as a result of an unstable atmospheric condition caused by the Red Sea low-pressure system. This instability has led to heavy rainfall across large parts of the kingdom. Weather experts forecast that this unstable pattern will continue, with scattered rain showers often heavy, accompanied by thunder and hail. Warnings have been issued regarding potential flooding in valleys and low-lying areas, and drivers are advised to exercise caution and stay alert when on external roads.
