Loud Explosion Reported on Qeshm Island
The sound of an explosion on Iran's Qeshm Island likely resulted from warning shots aimed at vessels violating regulations in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iranian television. This occurs amid regional tensions with a potential escalation, as no official statement has been released regarding the explosion. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump indicated the possibility of resuming talks with Iran next week, after Iran rejected direct negotiations. Both sides continue to maintain that tensions in the region remain high.
