Al-Muqar reports four new water violations
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and the Public Security Directorate, carried out a campaign in the Al-Muqur area south of Amman. The campaign resulted in the detection of four violations against a water transmission line, involving the unauthorized withdrawal of water to fill violating tankers through illegal taps with diameters of 1 and 2 inches. The illegal connections were disconnected and the situation rectified, in an effort to protect water sources and ensure citizens' water rights.
