Flydubai pilots injured in Tabuk accident
Tabuk Airports in Saudi Arabia reported on September 30, 2026, that a flight operated by Fly Dubai was forced to make an emergency landing after receiving a distress call. During the descent, both the captain and the first officer were injured and transferred to the hospital. Meanwhile, assistance was provided to the passengers and an alternate aircraft was coordinated. Initial investigations indicate that the incident occurred inside the cockpit, where a fierce fight broke out between the pilots. It is suspected that one of them stabbed the other, with increasing speculation that one pilot attempted to take control of the aircraft and may have intended to down it.
