Active insured count rises by 70,000
The Social Security Corporation in Jordan revealed that the number of active insured individuals reached 1,685,387 by the end of September 2026, compared to 1,615,664 insured in September 2025. This represents an increase of about 70,000 insureds, with a growth rate of 4.3%. This rise is attributed to the implementation of various measures and procedures aimed at enhancing insurance coverage, including the activation of electronic linkage with government agencies, extending coverage to foreign workers, and conducting field inspections. The goal is to expand social protection to all categories of workers and establishments.
