Brigadier General Abu Hussein Al-Orjouni Dies in Syria
Reports have circulated on social media platforms about the killing of Major General in the Syrian Army, Abdul Rahman Hussein Al-Khatib, known as "Abu Hussein Al-Orjuni," in Syria, allegedly by his escorts. However, the news has not been officially confirmed yet. Al-Khatib, who was one of the prominent leaders of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham previously, joined the Syrian Army after the fall of the regime. He participated in significant battles such as the "Deterrence of Aggression" operation and was promoted to the rank of Major General in December 2024. He oversaw important military operations, including the Republican Guard and the 90th Brigade in Damascus, prior to his possible death.
