Iran sets conditions for talks and peace
The Secretary-General of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, confirmed that Iran has informed mediators of its conditions for resuming negotiations aimed at ending the war with the United States. These conditions include ending the war on all fronts, lifting the freeze on Iranian funds, and halting the maritime blockade. Tehran is currently awaiting a response from U.S. President Donald Trump. He explained that discussions with Qatari and Pakistani mediators are ongoing and that Iran believes Trump miscalculated, with the war being incited by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He downplayed Washington's expectations, emphasizing that Iran is better prepared to face its airstrikes and that it is setting its terms to exit what it considers a necessary conflict to protect its national interests.
