Government: Dissolving trade boards before elections complies with laws
Government sources reported that the Council of Ministers decided to dissolve the boards of directors of the Chambers of Commerce about two months before the scheduled elections. This was done to ensure transparency and good governance in the electoral process and to adequately prepare those wishing to run for office. The aim of this decision is to prevent conflicts of interest, especially since the Industrial Chamber elections take place two months before the Trade Chamber elections, requiring sufficient time for preparation in accordance with regulations. Overall, the report viewed the government's approach as focused on managing the election process in an impartial and transparent manner.
