Deputy PM: 70% of citizen services via municipalities
The Jordanian Ministry of Local Administration, in cooperation with the Jordanian Academy for Public Administration, launched a program to develop the capabilities of more than 2,000 employees from the country's municipalities. The program aims to improve municipal performance across areas such as urban planning, finance, tenders, and local development, aligning with the comprehensive modernization vision for the three tracks. Officials emphasize that enhancing the efficiency of municipal staff is essential for delivering direct services to approximately 70% of citizens, while also reinforcing the implementation of the Local Administration Law and improving the performance of neighborhood committees.
