Al-Bashir highlights youth role in fostering dialogue
MP Dina Al-Beshir emphasized the important role of young parliamentarians in strengthening dialogue and communication between peoples, especially in a connected world with rapidly spreading social media. She pointed out that young parliamentarians contribute to building bridges between communities and nations through meetings and forums, highlighting the importance of responsible engagement with social media to avoid misinformation and promote genuine dialogue based on understanding and cooperation. She also stressed that the success of these bridges is measured by the exchange of experiences and the development of partnerships, not just by the number of meetings. Genuine dialogue, she said, requires the ability to embrace differences and work together with flexibility.
