Rice files bankruptcy
Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in federal court in the Northern District of Texas, reporting more than $3.45 million in debt, including over $2.1 million tied to civil lawsuits. The filing lists $677,054 in assets, including $39,241 classified as non-exempt, while Rice disputes some claims against him. Meanwhile, Kansas City is considering adding a wide receiver before the trade deadline amid injuries and inconsistent production in the position group.
