Southgate rarely watches football and unlikely to return to Premier League
Gareth Southgate has ruled out returning to Premier League management and revealed little interest in watching football since stepping down as England’s manager after the Euro 2024 final. He has not attended a match since supporting his former club, Crystal Palace, in the FA Cup final last year, and stated he no longer enjoys football wins or the sport itself. Southgate has focused on new pursuits, including a podcast and a BBC documentary, and expressed that he has enjoyed a different phase of his life away from competitive football.
