Burnham's First Home scheme may increase Bellway's housing output
Bellway plans to build between 9,000 and 9,400 homes this year, slightly lower than last year, amid market pressures. The new Your First Home scheme for first-time buyers in England could increase Bellway’s annual house completions by around 10% and help boost profits, though some buyers may delay purchases until the scheme launches. The initiative offers government-backed equity loans and low deposits, aiming to support modest, first-time homebuyers.
