Southampton wins despite ten men
Southampton secured a 1-0 victory over Portsmouth in a tense Championship match, their first home win against Portsmouth in 22 years. Despite playing with ten men after a red card to Cameron Bragg, Southampton defended resolutely to hold on to the lead, which was scored by James Bree. The win comes amid recent controversy involving coach Tonda Eckert, who was given a suspended six-week ban and fine for misconduct related to a spying scandal, and highlights the team's resilience and ongoing promotion ambitions.
