Ukraine blames Russia for apartment bombing
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy condemned Russia for deliberately targeting civilians and residential buildings, including a five-storey apartment block in Pryluky that was destroyed, killing nine people, including three children. The attack, carried out with ballistic missiles and drones, was part of Russia’s broader campaign that involved 70 ballistic missiles and 46 drones, resulting in at least 15 deaths across multiple Ukrainian regions. Zelenskyy highlighted the attack as a provocative act linked to Putin’s birthday and called for increased air defense support from allies.
