Schottenheimer trusts Cowboys defense despite tough 2026 start
Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer remains confident in the team's defense despite a difficult start to the season, with the unit allowing 28 or more points in three of four games. The team is currently 2-2 after a win over the Houston Texans and has made recent roster moves, including acquiring cornerback Joey Porter Jr., to improve the defense. The Cowboys aim to address their defensive issues in upcoming games, beginning with a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
