Uefa and Concacaf urge Gianni Infantino to allocate Fifa's funds to member associations
Uefa and Concacaf leaders have urged Fifa president Gianni Infantino to release at least $10 million to each of Fifa’s 211 member associations from its $6 billion reserves, proposing a one-off distribution during the 2027-2030 cycle. The request aims to fund infrastructure and development, arguing that existing Fifa funds and reserves are sufficient without relying on the failed Fifa Forward Enterprise scheme. The proposal is set for discussion at the next Fifa Council meeting amid ongoing questions about Fifa’s financial position and governance.
