The U.S. dollar held firm against major currencies, supported by safe-haven demand following a broad sell-off in artificial intelligence stocks. However, falling Treasury yields limited its gains ahead of the U.S. jobs report. Two-year yields fell by around 10 basis points and 10-year yields by about 6 basis points, later settling at 4.4719% and 4.8348%, respectively. Analysts noted that weakness in Asian equities could support the dollar against regional currencies.
