Assala Nasri revealed that her jewelry box went missing from her room at the MGM Grand Detroit hotel after her concert in Detroit, United States. It contained pieces tied to memories of her father, husband and children, as well as gifts associated with her artistic achievements. Detroit police began investigating a report filed on the morning of November 1, 2026. No official value for the missing items has been announced, though media estimates have put it as high as $6 million. Assala said she waited about a week before going public so as not to spoil her joy at the success of her U.S. tour, adding that she had received no updates on the jewelry’s whereabouts.
