Solidarity and Local Development Partner on Women's Green Initiatives
The Ministries of Social Solidarity and Local Development signed a cooperation protocol to support environmental projects and combat climate change in Egypt. The aim of the protocol is to unify technical standards and facilitate procedures for funding and approvals for projects implemented by non-governmental organizations, with a focus on vital areas such as waste management, pollution reduction, and increasing green spaces. It also includes the creation of an interactive database to monitor all environmental projects across the country, in order to enhance transparency and direct support effectively. This initiative opens up job opportunities and transforms environmental challenges into economic opportunities for women and families.
