Taylor Swift Tops Charts for 101 Weeks
Taylor Swift has successfully maintained her dominance in the global music industry by keeping her twelfth album, "The Life of a Showgirl," at number one on the Billboard 200 chart for the fifteenth week, despite a 7% decline in listens last week. The album achieved 87,000 equivalent units. She surpassed herself with the release of the expanded version, "The Encore," which included four new songs, garnering 40.5 million global streams in the first 24 hours and helping it soar back to the top. With her albums having spent more than 101 weeks at number one overall, Swift has become the first solo artist to exceed this number, surpassing The Beatles, who have 132 weeks. This achievement cements her status as a historic icon in the music industry.
