Prince Harry and Meghan's stance on partial presence
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle insist on maintaining the concept of "partial presence" in royal life, despite former Queen Elizabeth's opposition to this idea. They have announced their commitment to balancing their roles as members of the royal family with their independent activities, and they live financially independent lives, even though they do not participate in official family duties. Someone close to them indicated that they prefer not to be classified as working or former royal members, emphasizing that their relationship with the monarchy remains unofficially intact, as they continue to prioritize their independence and pursue their personal interests.
