Hani Ramzi Discusses Sexual Scenes and Gay Roles
Actor Hani Ramzi discussed his perspective on taking on daring roles in an interview, explaining that he doesn't mind playing any character, including gay roles, as long as the script is good and serves the artistic work. Ramzi affirmed that ever since he entered the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, he overcame his shyness in front of the camera and is comfortable portraying both villainous and virtuous roles, provided the script is suitable. He admitted that he's not particularly skilled at performing provocative or sexual scenes and mentioned that one of his most daring scenes was in the film "Zaza," which involved a political scene that was considered for deletion due to its boldness. He commented that a true artist is one who chooses roles that serve the work, and there are no restrictions preventing him from performing any type of role if it fits the context.
