Samer Abu Talib gets 3 months for not supporting his son
The article discusses a court ruling in Egypt ordering singer Rena Samaha to be imprisoned for three months due to her ex-husband Samir Abu Talib's refusal to provide financial support for their child. This comes within the context of a legal dispute over child custody and alimony rights. It is noted that Rena Samaha separated from Samir Abu Talib after their marriage, which lasted from 2020 to 2025. She clarified in statements that she had waived all her rights in exchange for the separation, while still insisting on her rights concerning their child. The verdict followed a legal lawsuit she filed against her ex-husband, and sources indicate that legal disagreements between the two regarding alimony and child rights continue.
