Jessica Chastain in Other Mommy
The film "Other Mommy," starring Jessica Chastain, presents a psychological storyline centered around the appearance of a mysterious entity inside a family home. This entity takes the form of the child's mother, Bella, and behaves in a disturbing manner, threatening the family and raising questions about how they will handle the presence of an evil being that appears as a family member. The movie demonstrates how danger can lurk in places we consider safe, and it explores whether the family can distinguish between reality and deception, as well as how to protect the child from hidden threats. The story relies on destroying trust within the family, with a remarkable performance by Jessica Chastain portraying two similar characters who differ in their mannerisms. The film is shot in vibrant colors that reflect the child's perspective, intensifying the psychological horror atmosphere. It will initially be released in international markets starting October 7, 2026, with plans to reach audiences in other regions shortly thereafter.
