Prince George's first holiday at Eton
After joining Eton College last September, 13-year-old Prince George spent his first family holiday following the start of the school term, returning to his family’s home in Windsor to spend the weekend with his parents and brothers. This short break, from October 2 to 4, comes just a few weeks after he entered the college, which has a strict system of rules and discipline, including stringent policies on the use of technology, where students are permitted to leave school for short holidays. It is noted that Prince George is aware of the college’s academic system and disciplinary regulations, and continues to engage with a parenting style focused on a stable family life, different from the approaches of previous royal generations. His father, Prince William, also has a connection with Eton, having studied there between 1995 and 2000. This holiday is the first he has spent since starting school, outside the confines of residential life within the institution.
