Ibn Muna Wasef honored after hiatus
Manal Wasif received a special tribute at the Homs International Short Film Festival, where she recalled childhood memories with her family, especially with her late mother. Her son, Ammar, accompanied her after a long absence spanning many years. She emphasized that this tribute carried mixed emotions of pride and responsibility, and that her son's presence added a unique emotional dimension. Ammar described the moment as particularly meaningful, having been separated from his mother for nearly 20 years. The event included reminiscing and reflection on Manal Wasif's relationship with her family, highlighting the significance of her son's presence during this important moment in her artistic career.
