Prince of Poets Reveals Twelfth Season Cast
The 12th season of "Amir Al-Shu'ara" announces the selection of 20 poets who will compete in live episodes broadcast on Abu Dhabi Media Network in December. This follows a thorough evaluation process that includes interviews, written tests, and improvisational poetry. The program aims to support classical Arabic poetry and enhance its presence by discovering and assessing talented poets through a specialized jury, with a focus on balancing language between authenticity and modernity. The winner of the "Amir Al-Shu'ara" title will receive a cash prize of one million dirhams, along with a traditional cloak and a royal seal ring.
