Halle Berry's visitation restricted amid abuse claims
Halle Berry faced legal restrictions on her visitation rights to her 12-year-old son, Maceo, after her ex-boyfriend, Olivier Martinez, accused her of physical and emotional harm during their disputes. A judge in Los Angeles issued a temporary protective order in favor of Martinez, establishing an interim visitation schedule for Berry to see her son, with investigations and the case scheduled to continue until October 16. This comes amid long-standing disagreements between the two over child-rearing, which escalated following accusations of violence and abusive behavior—though Berry denies these claims—despite ongoing negotiations and psychological evaluations that had temporarily halted, only for the disputes to flare up again.
