Halle Berry's Custody Restriction After Abuse Accusation
Halle Berry faced court-imposed restrictions on her visits to her 12-year-old son, Maceo, after her ex-husband Olivier Martinez accused her of harming him during a domestic dispute. This led to the issuance of a temporary protection order on October 1, 2026. Her visits have been temporarily limited until the scheduled court hearing on October 16. The case is part of ongoing long-standing disputes between the two parties regarding the child's upbringing and guidance, which continued even after their final divorce in 2023. The latest dispute began when Berry entered her son's room during a virtual reality game, and it escalated to allegations of physical assault against her. Berry denied these accusations, deeming them misleading. Both parties are now enrolled in a co-parenting counseling program, with the court continuing to review custody details and agreements related to the child's care.
